"Matures one month earlier than other varieties"

"Inner Mongolian Kamuyi onions go on the market in large quantities"

Onions are long-day crops, and in the absence of sufficient sunlight, onion production will be greatly reduced. The growth conditions of onions determine the distribution of planting areas indirectly. In China, onion production areas are mainly distributed in Sichuan, Yunnan, Shandong, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and other regions.

"We have an onion planting base covering an area of about 15,000 mu in Inner Mongolia, with an output of 7 tons per mu. The planting variety is the early-maturing variety Kamuyi yellow-skin onion. Compared with other varieties in Inner Mongolia and Gansu, this variety ripens one month earlier. In addition, it is easy to store, resistant to transportation, suitable for export and deep processing," according to Mr. Bai of Dalian Nongchang International Trading Co., Ltd.

"At this stage, our onions are sold to South Korea through the traditional sales model in addition to wholesale markets and supermarkets in first- and second-tier cities in China. Thanks to the unique product qualities of Kamuyi yellow-skin onions and their early listing market advantage, our Kamuyi yellow skin onion has a stable daily shipment and the sales situation is ideal."
