Zurich wholesaler builds two-story logistics center
Agroform AG moves to new company warehouse at the end of 2018
After a long planning period of two years, Agroform AG has definitely received the approval to build a new logistics center. Now that the construction permits have arrived, the implementation of the cultivation plans is actually being realized. At the end of the year, the Lagerhaus Süd or the Gewerbehaus 18 is to be occupied.
The new warehouse should look like this: The ground floor with a total area of approx. 520m2 is to be used -among other things- for delivery, (cooled) storage and handling. The logistics will take place by means of 5 frontal and 3 longitudinal loading gates. On the first floor (about 500m2) there will be offices.
The construction is based on a continuous development by the wholesaler, says managing director Michael Raduner. In addition, the development of the southeastern wholesale market area was completed with the new building. This is in line with the sub-goal "Optimal use of the property" from the strategy 'Engrosmarkt 2025'.
Online trade Agroform AG was founded in 1993 and has been supplying its customers with a versatile range and a high quality of first-class food for over 20 years. In addition to the new building, the design of an online shop (2016) is one of the expansion steps of the wholesaler.
