Germany: Billion euro investment in logistics centers

The Rewe Group wants to build 7 new logistics centers in Germany. The reason for these investments is the expected growth of the group up until 2025. Rewe Logistics Manager Matthias Bähr told the "Deutschen Verkehrs-Zeitung" that the old locations, insofar as they will not be absorbed into the new ones, should be overhauled and automated. The entire project should cost more than 1 billion euros.
