Italy: Improved warehouse logistics improves processing
"2017 was characterised by important results especially when it comes to optimised warehouse logistics and the organisation of human resources. According to the data collected through a customer satisfaction survey conducted by SG Marketing, Agricola Lusia is perceived as a reliable highly-professional partner with an excellent level of service provided and problem-solving capability. To us, it is important to maintain this standard because it is precisely thanks to this that we managed to acquire new clients over the last year."
These results were achieved thanks to the resources Agricola Lusia invested in R&D to constantly improve the quality of services offered and become increasingly competitive on the market.
"Warehouse logistics was optimised through a collaboration started in 2017 with the University of Padua, thanks to which we improved our analyses of the productive process. This led to the acquisition of new packagers and to an improved processing."
An in-depth investigation conducted with sector experts monitoring the well-being and performance of employees was definitely one of the factors that contributed to last year's positive results and will enable the company to do well this year too.
Feedback from the foreign market has been encouraging. "We currently commercialise our products with retailers in Slovenia and Croatia. We consider ourselves to be interpreters of the fruit sector and protagonists in the citrus fruit category. We work with retailers to guarantee profitability to the whole sector."
The mission is to commercialise healthy high-quality produce (fresh and dried) with a high nutritional and energetic added value. "We undertake to guarantee customer satisfaction by communicating our values, which are based on a healthy lifestyle that respects people and nature. We obtained the organic certification with ICEA for the commercialisation of citrus and dried fruit. Our organic range currently includes Goji berries, oranges and Sicilian lemons."
New challenges await the company in 2018. "In particular, we plan on focusing on citrus fruit. They will be the protagonists of the new I Succosi range. We will also create campaigns to express the uniqueness and healthy properties of our fruit, which ripen naturally in the best production areas in the world."
