MOST is ready for a global expansion within the next twelve months thanks to the entry of a group of investors that includes former international rugby star Bob Skinstad, and it also has the support of the creators of Candy Crush.
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, MOST has developed the MOST device, a solution for fresh products and other perishable goods. This device can track the location, temperature, amount of light or humidity in shipments when in transit at sea, and also makes it possible to determine the best routes for land transportation in real time.
The device has two digital sensors and tracking location, allowing for continuous online updates, which is why it is increasingly attractive for countless customers around the world, including the main consortiums of the fresh produce industry, according to CEO Jon Hjertenstein.

Skinstad is a partner of the Knife Capital office in London and has assumed a position within the MOST board of directors as part of that investment.
Skinstad and Knife Capital have thus joined Lars Markgren, co-founder of King Digital Entertainment, a British and Swedish mobile gaming company that created the global gaming phenomenon known as Candy Crush, which has been one of MOST's investment companies since 2014.

As Hjertenstein explains, this new investment package will allow MOST to make a broad expansion by promoting the capabilities of the MOST device in the international market. One of the first steps to achieve this goal will be to recruit representatives for markets across Europe, Latin America and North America, as well as South Africa and later in Asia.
Prevention of damage
Created to meet the demands of a South African exporter who had difficulties with data loggers, the MOST device was specially developed to be connected to the net at all times and thus prevent any data loss.
Consequently, the MOST device is a solution that not only has a unique design, but which also (for the first time) makes it possible to track the position of maritime shipments during the entire journey, allowing it to stand out from its competitors. While other devices normally have to be taken out from the ship and connected to a computer upon arrival, the MOST device is permanently connected to the cloud, so users can trace the progress of the product on their telephones or tablets from start to finish.
Another of the exceptional advantages of the MOST device is that it helps companies prevent damage to fruits and vegetables during transportation, as it measures any impact during land transportation in real time. If the MOST device detects an impact level that could potentially damage the product, customers can immediately take action by selecting alternate routes. In this way, the probability that the product will reach its destination in good condition increases considerably. Time and money are saved throughout the entire process and the possibility of the shipment being rejected as a result of damage is reduced.

Our device reduces the number of rejected shipments and therefore ensures the supply of better products to importers, traders and end customers."
MOST will be on display at Fruit Logistica 2018 from 7 to 9 February in Hall 26, Stand D-20.
