Partida Logistics is expanding its services in the north of Morocco with the opening of an office in the Port of Motril, one of the State's ports of general interest, located on the Mediterranean coast of Granada, where it enjoys a privileged position to connect Spain and Europe with Morocco.
With a 98.5% growth in the traffic of goods compared to the previous year, the Port of Motril has handled 448,000 tonnes during the first six months of 2017. "Setting up facilities in Motril is an appropriate decision in order to provide our customers with more logistical options and agility in the customs processes," says a representative of Partida Logistics.
This growth in the volume of goods is a result of the maritime connection Tangier Med - Port of Motril; a service provided by the shipping company FRS, which also runs the maritime line between Algeciras and Morocco for ro-ro cargoes.
The Motril port area has a Border Inspection Point (PIF) to verify the quality standards of the fruit and vegetable shipments, free parking for trucks and optimal communication by road through the Mediterranean dual carriageways and the A44.
As an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), Partida Logistics guarantees the optimization of customs procedures, the simplification of transactions and the provision of security and protection services in its office in the Port of Motril, just as it's already done in the Port of Algeciras.
