NZ: New airline service opens up opportunities for stone fruit exports to Hong Kong
The first Cathay Pacific flight of a new seasonal service linking Aukland, New Zealand and Hong Kong will land tomorrow, reports nzherald.co.nz. The airline will be using the Airbus A350XWB passenger plane which can hold 280 persons and carry 20 tons of cargo per trip. This extra cargo will open up new export opportunities to Hong Kong for New Zealand producers, especially stone fruit and cherry producers.
