China: Shaanxi Quarantine Bureau confiscates rotten persimmons

On November 2, Shaanxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau checked inbound and outbound shipments and intercepted a package from the United States. It contained 32 persimmons, some of which had begun to rot. 

The shipment had an official USA phytosanitary certificate and other approvals to enter. The package was confiscated by the Bureau according to the law.
