On the 29th of November 2017, the slot booking process (SBV) will come into force at the port of Hamburg. The container terminals of HHLA will only be accessible for trucks that have booked a valid slot for their transportation, on the condition that they make use of the registration. Due to the slot booking process, transport companies and terminal operators have to work more closely together.
