Digital price label system saves time

The Authentic Green Grocer! Simon Dragt has been supplying a wide variety of well-priced fresh products on a daily basis for many years. Pricing these products every day with the correct, current prices, before the shop opens, is very time-consuming. Digitisation has now made its mark on the retail sector as well. Bizerba has met Dragt's weighing and labelling needs for 25 years, and they have come up with a solution for this too.

As an addition to Bizerba's scale labels and receipt rolls, Dragt has, as advised by Bizerba, bought the ESL system, in combination with retail software package. ESL stands for electronic shelf labeling. These electronic shelf labels contribute to Dragt's distinctiveness. They are also able to respond quickly to price changes or other commercial applications. This solution enables intelligent communication and control, as well as the optimisation of price and product information on the shopfloor.

Besides specialities that range from fresh products, meal service, ready meals, snacks and buffets, the Authentic Green Grocer also offers platters and fruit bowls for special occasions. This can be done online, but the shop in the centre of Vollenhove is an important place, where clients can buy fresh produce on a daily basis.
