"Most of our assortment is all Turkish products, such as citrus, grapes and figs. We work purely with certified products, we take care of them from cultivation to final customer. A lot of importers have to pre-pay to import trade from Turkey, but as long as you are insured, you don't need to do that with us," says Ali. "At the moment we are working hard on starting up the programmes from Turkey. As of September 25 the Turkish citrus will be released for export again. There seems to be a good demand for Turkish lemons and satsuma's, although the prices for lemons in Turkey are quite high at the moment. People will have to learn to go along with the prices."
"We are also trying to start up the trade from other production areas. We have already sent bananas from Ecuador to Turkey and we are also working with other suppliers in South America. We also want to start the export of Italian and Spanish trade to out German customers," says Ali. Tres Rey Fruit has already launched its first brand - BSA - and will soon bring their own brand Triple Star onto the market.
