Inc. magazine ranked Terra Exports number 923 on its 36th annual Inc. 5000 list, a ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. According to Terra Exports, they are the only fresh fruit company in the fruit trade industry to appear on this year’s list.
Terra Exports ranked #4 on the list of top Inc. 5000 companies based in Nevada. This was due to the company’s significant growth rate of 476% since being founded in 2012, and revenues in 2016 at $23.9 million.
What’s notable about this story is the potential in the fruit trading space for new companies to emerge, innovate, and find success. Many millennials are leaning towards the glamour of careers in technology, but Terra Exports is an example that shows there is still opportunity for success within other industries.
