Italy: Many exhibitors have already confirmed their presence at FuturPera

The Salone Internazionale della Pera will feature high-quality and strongly innovative exhibitors. The event will be held in Ferrara between 16th and 18th November and leading companies have already confirmed their presence. Over one hundred exhibitors took part in the first edition and the fair has since become a reference for the Italian pear sector. There is no doubt its importance will increase on both a European and international level as well.

The public will have the chance to learn about what's new in the nursery world and discover the latest trends in varietal innovation. Dalmonte Vivai, Fll. Zanzi Vivai, Maccanti Vivai, Mazzoni Group, Pietro Chinaglia Vivai, Salvi Vivai will all take part. The event's objectives include the development of the entire chain starting precisely with varietal research.

The improvement of production processes is just as interesting. Companies operating in the fertiliser, biostimulant, pesticide and seed sectors such as Basf, Chemia, Scam, Sipcam and Valagro will present the latest innovations with a low environmental impact, in line with FuturPera objectives.

The halls will also welcome a large selection of machinery and orchard management, harvesting and post-harvest solutions. Agrofresh Holding France, C.B Agri, Hermes, Montini Group, Orsi Group, Sae Macchine Agricole, Selvatici and Tifone have already confirmed their attendance. Sorting and processing companies Aweta Sistemi, tjhe Dutch Greefa and MAF Roda (Italian branch of MAF Roda Agrobiotic) also couldn't give it a miss.

The second edition will be the perfect chance to meet buyers from big importer countries and will definitely favour internalisation. This is also why the largest producer organisations - Opera and Origine Group - will take part. Spreafico Francesco and F.lli e Laffi Giorgio & C. will be there too.

Two conventions dedicated to technical innovations and market trends have been organised in cooperation with Centro Servizi Ortofrutticoli (CSO – Italy), as well as a series of technical meetings (including one organised by Condifesa Bologna e Ferrara) and workshops dedicated to the fight against the marmorated stink bug, fertilisation techniques and future perspectives on an international level.

FuturPera is organised by Oi (Organizzazione Interprofessionale) Pera e Ferrara Fiere e Congressi with the help of A&A Broker assicurativi and Bper Banca.
