China: Wenzhou port intercepts pithecellobium dulce

X-yay inspection at Wenzhou port, recently discovered a package containing fresh fruit in the personal luggage of a passenger entering from Cambodia. Live insects were found to be infesting the fruit which was a variety of the pithecellobium dulce. 

Further checks revealed a lot of white live insects and even some maggots crawling out of the fruit. The carton was sent to the relevant department for destruction and the insects have been sent to the laboratory for further identification.
