Operators working in the fruit and vegetable sector are warned that unidentified people are contacting producers to buy and sell supplies of products identifying themselves as representatives from the "ORTOFRUTTICOLA PARMA" company located in San Lazzaro di Savena (Emilia Romagna).
These are fraud attempts made at stealing the business' identity, as the company has never authorised any third party to contact others on their behalf.
Someone passing themselves off as owner Mauro Parma is marking orders using a phone number which is not attributable to the company, which has already reported it to the police.
Producers are therefore asked to pay the utmost attention and request a confirmation of purchase orders to the real "ORTOFRUTTICOLA PARMA" by contacting managers at the following numbers:
