First Israeli grapes at Olympic Fruit
The first Israeli grapes arrived by air at Olympic Fruit in Barendrecht. The grapes are from the Jordan Valley. According to Jacob Visser the grapes are very early, but there is enough demand according to the importe. In the first weeks we receive grapes packed in 4.5 kilo boxes and the coming weeks the 10x500g per box will follow.
“Demand for grapes is good and we are realising good prices for the first grapes", says Jacob. Olympic Fruit imports the grapes in cooperation with Mehadrin.
