At Verdi Import the first Alpha's from Malta have arrived, Geert Verweij proudly shows. "These well-known premier potatoes came from a very small early area on the isle of Malta and were already sold out quickly."

 

"Furthermore it is premier potato time at Verdi Import. Large quantities of Nicola in various sizes from Morocco go to Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. There are also galantine small potatoes as well. Derby-Malta in 25 kg jute bags. The Spanish Dore need to grow a bit longer, which will only improve the taste and the size."
