Driscoll’s attends Floriade 2012

After ten years Floriade is opening its gates again in Venlo, the Netherlands. Floriade 2012 will take place from April 5th until October 7th in a stunning park, and Driscoll’s is going to be part of it. The Floriade World Horticultural Expo, which is a major consumer event in the fruit & vegetable sector, has been held in the Netherlands every 10 years since 1960. This year, two million visitors are expected at the 6th edition of this unique event that goes back 52 years.

Floriade 2012 will feature five themed areas on a site of 66 hectares:

• Environment
• Green Engine
• Relax & Heal
• Education & Innovation (where Driscoll’s is to be found)
• World Show Stage

Because of its central location, Floriade will not only attract consumers from the Netherlands and Germany, but also from the rest of Europe and even from other parts of the world. By sponsoring this event, Driscoll’s aims to reach consumers, growers and retailers, as well as potential employees. "We will have a stand with a large brand exposure and will be showing our promo film."
