Damage much less than last year
AU: Almond harvest looking good despite heavy rainfall
The almond harvest in the Riverland has commenced and growers are upbeat about its potential, despite recent rainfall.
Some damage is apparent, but is considerably less than last year, when a wet summer did much damage to crops.

Brendan Sidhu, Managing Director of Jubilee Almonds says this time around, even though there were plenty of nuts on the ground, they should come out okay.
