Angola: International delegation at first banana fair
The first National Banana Fair will open Today in Caxito, northern Bengo province, under the joint initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture and the local government.
The opening ceremony will be marked by addresses from the provincial governor of Bengo, Joćo Bernardo de Miranda and minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Afonso Pedro Canga.
The three day event will cover such issues as the cultivation of bananas, the benefits of consumption and the industry supply chain.
150 exhibitors are expected, national and international.
