US (MD): Consumers get chance to "meet the grower"
The Maryland Department of Agriculture is holding a trade meeting next Tuesday, 24th January, to give Maryland growers and producers an opportunity to display their produce and to give buyers a chance to meet and speak with them face to face.
Farmers, grocery stores, restaurants, chefs, schools, distributors, economic development officials, hotels, Maryland Extension and regional agricultural marketing officials will be represented. The event will run from 9 am to 1 pm at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Football Stadium in Annapolis.
