UK: Three way carrot sorting machine more efficient
Radix Systems Ltd. based in Winchester, England has launched a three-way carrot sorting machine. After washing and polishing the carrots the carrots are sorted for the best quality for class I. In addition, the new machine also separates the waste carrots from those which can go for processing.
Nick Revels, Sales Manager at Radix, explains, "using cameras, which can view the produce from all angles, it saves both labour and time giving an efficient sorting system."
The new machine is available worldwide via a network of distributors.
