Holland: De Groot offer clip packings with new machine
After a trial week, the real work started this week with the new packing line of De Groot International. Marcel Villerius, production manager at De Groot is satisfied. "During the week of 4 July we removed the last starting problems and from Monday 11 July we are starting with real volumes"

"We do not have this kind of packing yet" he continues. "This is the Newtec-line specially for clip packings."

"We decided to offer our clients another form of packing and with this we can serve every client, both existing and new ones. Addition products with any label can be packed."
Piet Pannekeet of JASA, the Dutch NEWTEC dealer adds: "As a result of this new line the production possibilities of De Groot are a lot more flexible. And the capacity increased by 90 x 1kg clips per minute."

The production manager tells that they also have anotherNEWTEC line. "We already had good experience with the present machine and so Java was the obvious choice. Also we choose this supplier because of the exact weights and the accurate service."
