Buy Korean Food 2011 a success!
The Buy Korean Food 2011 (BKF 2011) was a resounding success. It took place June 16-17, 2011 at aT Center Seoul, Korea.
The BKF 2011 is participated by 123 buyers representing 90 companies from different parts of the world eager to see the fresh and processed products being offered by 247 Korean exporters.
There were also presentations of awards to K& K Germany, Dalian Quannan International Trade and Kofco Enterprise- Hongkong.
Korean foods were served during the Welcoming Luncheon.
“BKF 2011 is one of the most important events presenting Korean products. The aT Center staff worked hard to organize this event. The BKF 2011 focuses mostly on Korean processed products,” says Mr. Young Je Ha, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of aT Korea Agro- Fisheries Trade Corp.
“The Korean products are safe. We observe a very strict policy on hygiene and safety,” emphasized Mr. Ha.
The BKF 2011 not only showcases Korean food products but at the same time, the Korean people itself and its culture.
“The event is getting better every year and the number of attendees is growing. We were able to find big players in the food industry and the most important thing is that a lot of Korean exporters were able to find new business partners,” added Kwon- Jae Seo, assistant manager- Overseas Marketing Team of aT Center- Seoul, Korea.
aT Center has been improving the global competitiveness of Korean agricultural and fishery products since 1967. Korean products are already known worldwide especially in Asian countries. The ministry and aT Center continue to make Korean products more accessible to the world market through export promotion activities, promotion of food product industry, distribution reform and price stabilization programs.
The aT Center is expected to promote more Korean products this year in the Middle East with paprika as one of the major products.
