A bright example of corporate social responsibility
Euro Fruits celebrates Scholarship Certificates distribution in its school
Euro Fruits Private Ltd is India's leading exporter of table grapes toward the
European markets since 1993. It works as a partner of the Dutch
importer Timerfruit
(Rotterdam). Just next to its recently built (2005) packhouse in Sangli,
Euro Fruits has now opened the first English Medium School in this
area (see related article).
On 19th November, 2009, Euro Fruits held a meeting at the School, for the distribution of Scholarship Certificates.

Highlights of the event are shown in the following pictures:

Inauguration of Sports / Recreational Equipments for the School Children's. Nitin Agrawal, managing director cuts the ribbon.

Distribution of Scholarship Certificates to 12 Students.

Importance of education was delivered by Nitin Agrawal in his address.

Children performed various cultural activities such as singing, dancing and story telling in English.

Dance show.

Distribution of gifts to all 97 students studying at our School. Also gifts were given to 8 Teachers as a token of respect.
The function concluded with display of fireworks followed by dinner for all 300 guests.
As Nitin Agrawal, managing director of Euro Fruits says: "Everybody at Euro Fruits takes great pride in organizing this event. I personally wish to thank all the team members of Euro Fruits for their wonderful support and co-operation in making our Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative successful".
"I am happy to inform that as of today we have 97 students in our School. In March we had 78 students. Now we have classes up to grade 3. Alot of students can now speak good English. This is indeed a great achievement. The playground equipment supplied by us are the only ones in over 100 kilometres. 12 students were awarded the Scholarship Certificates. This was to appreciate the good results they produced in their final exams".
"I wish to thanks all my Global friends, family members and Euro Fruits employees for their wonderful support and cooperation. Without them my dream to spread education would not have been fulfilled".
