DFDS launches LCL Service Fruit and Vegetables
DFDS Container Line BV are pleased to announce the launch of an LCL service for fruit and vegetables from the Netherlands to Ireland in addition to their current services. This new service starts as from November 2009. This new service will be offered in cooperation with cold stores in Ridderkerk/Barendrecht (HM de Jong) and De Lier (CCG). DFDS offers deliveries on Monday and Friday for groupage, part loads as well as full loads. The new LCL service is available in two temperature ranges: +2˚C / +4˚C en +6˚C / 7˚C
Next to the groupage Fruit & Vegetable service, DFDS also offer groupage solutions for frozen and other chilled commodities. DFDS has a long tradition in offering Fruit & Vegetables FCL services. DFDS offers direct port to port services on the route Continent to Ireland v.v. & from the Continent to, Norway v.v. for both Door/Door (Dry, Reefer & Special Cargo’) as 3rd party shipments.
