Tropical fruits from Veracruz and Puebla are exported with a new look

AgroLatin brings together producers of Veracruz (in the Gulf of Mexico) and Puebla to create a very wide range of production. Abigail Marin an AgroLatin representative presents all of the aspects of the company.

The company, which is the result of an alliance between two families who are traditionally producers, presented its tropical products in Veracruz, with different varieties of bananas and related products such as banana leaves (used for tamales in Mexico) and the flower that has a niche market in the U.S. In Puebla they produce cactus pear (tuna nopal, crucial to the Mexican diet) and the vegetables (onion, zucchini, green tomatoes, chile and others).

The geographical diversification of the company allows it to offer a very large range of products according to seasonality and availability of the fruit in both regions.

AgroLatin premiered at the PMA Summit a new image which highlights its Mexican indigenous character with a pre-Hispanic Aztec figure that exports products to the ethnic market in the U.S., which is gradually becoming consolidated with the American consumer.
