Asparagus growers Hessen expect 10 to 15% more harvest
Asparagus growers from the German province are talking about a good harvest. According to chairman Rolf Meinhardt from the local growers association, the harvest of the Hessen asparagus growers will be 10 to 15% higher than last year. In Hessen 10% of German asparagus is grown. The season traditionally ends on 24th June.
