4th European Bioplastics Conference in Berlin
Today, the association for the bioplastics industry in Europe, European Bioplastics, announced the 4th European Bioplastics Conference. The well-established event will take place on November 10/11 2009 at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Berlin.

Over the last years, the global market for bioplastics has expanded steadily at a rate of 25-30% p.a. Bioplastics can be used in various ways, for instance in short-life products like film, packaging, agricultural products or catering. It is also used in long-life products such as textiles, carpets, automotive applications and cases for cell phones or computers.
The annual conference offers the visitors an overview on the latest technological and market developments, a wide networking possibility and a product exhibition. In the past years, the main players of the bioplastics industry, politicians and other representatives of the bioplastics branch have gathered at the conference to exchange impressions and experiences.
