Poupart unveils new corporate image
Poupart Ltd, one of the UK’s leading fresh produce companies, has today announced new branding for two of its four divisions, Poupart Citrus and Poupart Imports, as well as a new corporate identity for the Group as a whole.
Established in 1895, the Poupart Group has been managed by the Olins, a well-known third generation fruit trading family, since the late 1980’s. Today’s re-branding is the first change since 1988 and will appear on all external and internal communications for the two divisions and the Group. The Poupart Ltd website at www.poupart.co.uk will reflect the changes by mid summer.
Laurence Olins, Chairman, says, “The roll-out of the new logos marks an exciting time for Poupart Ltd. As a company, we make great efforts to move with the times and now our corporate and group identities are as well.”
The Poupart Group is comprised of four specific trading divisions, two of which will remain unchanged. These are BerryWorld, supplying soft-fruit, and OrchardWorld, which supplies top-fruit.
Poupart Citrus which supplies citrus fruit direct to the multiples. Its new stationery will feature the image of orange or lemon skins on the reverse with Poupart sticker overprinted with clear gloss varnish.
Poupart Imports which concentrates on supplying the general trade with an extensive fresh produce range. The new logo highlights the company’s heritage and is a simple yet striking look that overlays a new gold with the company’s strong red, and;
The Poupart Group logo which is now a leaf-effect ‘O‘ printed in a clear gloss varnish over the Poupart red.
The new logos were designed by London based Campbell Hay Associates. Elly Campbell, Partner, says, “We were thrilled to be invited by Poupart Ltd to create new logos for two of their brands and the overall Group. Their strong heritage and forward vision gave us plenty to work with.”
