Tacler launches new start page just before Fruit Logisica

Livestream of trade leads on FreshPlaza

At the beginning of the new year, FreshPlaza, Tacler and AGF began sporting a new face for many, as Tacler launches a new homepage. The fruit and veg trading website used to be a fully closed platform. Starting January 2015, the user created content will be visible on the homepage of Tacler. This being visible should make the platform more interesting for visiting companies and individuals who are not yet members of the community, as they can now observe all the trade leads at a single glance. Therefore it will be more self-explanatory just what Tacler is and what it does. Besides the trade leads, online companies and people are also visible in the different product groups. This will create more incentive for new visitors to join the platform and to create their own new content.

Also being launched, is a new livestream on FreshPlaza websites of all new trade leads. This livestream will inform news readers about sales and sourcing requests giving a reason to log in, benefiting from the opportunities. Visitors to the new Tacler website, whether they already have an account or not, should click on any random spot to open the login module. This allows users to register for the site, or to log in. For personal assistance with registration or logging in sending an email is sufficient.

With these new steps, Tacler aims for intensified growth in 2015. The changes are also part of a new round of developments, which should create opportunities for strategic service partners. New partnerships will be announced and further developed soon. Where Tacler users are focussed on the purchase and sales of fruit and vegetables, Tacler itself will focus on offering the services of third parties to its user base. In particular this will include the products and services that most operators in our industry use frequently, such as risk management solutions, market and financial information, quality care and legal support.

Visit Tacler at Fruit Logistica at the FreshPlaza, AGF and Tacler stand in Hall 3.2, stand B-02.
