Wooden packing for fruit transport

Di Filippo Legnami, a manufacturer of wooden transport solutions for fruit and a variety of other purposes, is exhibiting for the first time at Fruit Logistica.

In 2013, the company built a new production line for wooden packing. The packing material is made from untreated wood and can be supplied in a variety of dimensions and thickness, corresponding to the size and weight of the fruit and box.

The packing protects fruit from shocks and vibrations, thermally insulates the product, offers high absorbency and is easy to use. The material contains no bonding agents or chemical additives.

This 100% natural product is an ideal choice for green product lines. The untreated wood used for the padding is harvested exclusively from FSC and PEFC-certified forests. This ensures that the fruit is not exposed to potentially harmful substances during transport.
