Local Quebecan peppers in SUBWAY

A Laval based vegetable producer is making the most of restaurant chain SUBWAY’s campaign to buy locally.

Until October, peppers grown on the Margiric farm will be amongst the vegetables on offer in all SUBWAY restaurants in Quebec.

“By working with Les Productions Margiric, we are able to decrease the distance food travels and stimulate local economy” indicates Kathleen Bell, National Marketing Director for the fast food giant, which has over 3,000 restaurants in Canada.

The Gibouleau family has been supplying fresh fruit and vegetables in Quebec for three generations.
