Germany: Stable sales volumes of organic fruit

German households bought on average 2.2 kg of organic fruit in the first half of 2014. This is the same amount as last year during the same period, reports the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) (Agricultural market information service) on their website. The average from the last five years has been passed by 2%. Therefore the sales volume of organic fruit has been relatively stable with a slight increase for the last years.
