Kalpesh Kivasara said that the Asian market is important to INI Farms as customers there are able to buy the company's products throughout the year as opposed to some other markets. Also the shorter transit time enables faster deliveries and longer shelf life.
Kalpesh explains, "We are looking for greater access to the Hong Kong market for our main products, fresh pomegranates, pomegranate arils and bananas. We are growers and our primary focus is to ensure that the product is as per our buyer’s specifications. This gives us a competitive advantage as most of the other shippers are primarily traders."
