Canada: Bonduelle production resumed after fire
Tecumseh Deputy Fire Chief Art Lounsbury says it’s going to be expensive. “I just started working on costs now,” reveals Lounsbury. “Just in rough estimates I’m probably at $30,000 just in labour alone, let alone the fuel, utilities and ancillary equipment I used at the scene.”
Lounsbury says the costs will be covered by existing budget allocations within the fire service and the general municipal budget.
A final tally will take another week to put together.
Meantime, Bonduelle VP Rob Anderson tells BlackburnNews.com that production has resumed at the Tecumseh plant as of noon Wednesday.
