Gourmet Trading Company announces early start of California blueberry season

Gourmet Trading Company prepares for an early start of its California blueberry season. The company anticipates beginning to pack by mid-April.

“The season is set to begin three weeks earlier than previous years due to great weather in California. With the season starting so early we hope to satisfy the markets high demand for blueberries right after the Chilean season,” stated Julia Inestroza, Marketing Director.

From now until the end of June Gourmet Trading Company anticipates promotable volumes of fresh blueberries from its California farm. The company offers the following blueberry pack sizes for retail, foodservice, wholesale and export: 12x4.4oz, 12x6oz, 12x1pint, 8x18oz, 12x24oz, and 12x32oz.
