Supply German blackberries increased again

The supply of blackberries from German cultivation regions has clearly increased again in general. This has in the meantime caused the necessary price adjustments in order to keep sales on the level, as mentioned by the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI).

The German market is still strongly served by local sources. In the north of Germany the production, because of the rainy weather conditions, decreased for some time, however. Also in the south the top of the supply of the late varieties has passed in the meantime. It is therefore to be expected that the market situation will stabilize again somewhat in the coming days.
