Israel: strawberries from Carmy Export

The Carmy farm has started its strawberry season this week that will last until the end of April. Carmy's red, sweet and juicy strawberry fields are located in the "Sharon" area of Israel, where they benefit from an optimal climate and growing condition, in lower and upper tunnels. The plants are treated with combined pest control that includes biological and conventional methods to assure the best possible health product.
Avi Pasternak the marketing manager says "Certified with EurepGAP and TNC certification our customers are spread all over Europe and there for we have daily air shipments for maximum service and quality".

This year the Carmy Farm is expected to airship 350 tons of strawberry. The export varieties are Tamar, Hadas, Yael and Angel, And packing is available in different sizes and styles according to customers requirements.
Pasternak says "Folklore states that if you split a double strawberry in half and share it with the opposite sex, you’ll soon fall in love - so I wish you all to share a strawberry and fall in love".
