Assaí, the wholesale network owned by Grupo Pão Açúcar, received the "São Paulo's Best Wholesale Distributor" award - a distinction promoted by the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors (ABAD).
"Being named the best wholesale distributor in the State of São Paulo makes us feel extremely proud, especially because we were chosen by our clients and our mission is to serve them well. This award is recognition of our job; we always make our best effort to improve our performance, both in the mix of products that we offer as well as in the service we provide to customers and suppliers," said Belmiro Gomes, president of Assaí Atacadista.
This year's Wholesale Distributor Annual Convention celebrates its 33rd edition, and promotes the approximation between the top companies in the domestic supply chain, including wholesalers, distributors, industry, retailers and service providers. Besides winning, Assaí was an exhibitor at the event, with a space of 60 square meters, where they received national and regional suppliers, partners and customers as well. This year's Best Wholesaler award highlighted the work of 22 companies, representing 26 States and the Federal District.
