Netherlands: Jan Maarten van Noort general director Mooy Logistics

Willem Zonnevijlle, General Director, has decided to step down from the daily running of the company with effect from 1 February 2013. He will not disappear completely, however. Mooy Logistics will continue to use his experience and he will as an ambassador remain in contact with the Company. Willem Zonnevijlle will be succeeded by Jan Maarten van Noort, who has been a director of Mooy Logistics since 2008.

Willem Zonnevijlle has been active for more than 35 years in the world of logistics and started his career at Zonnevijlle Transport, a family company. After the take-over of Zonnevijlle Transport by international Transport Company Mooy Logistics he was appointed Commercial Director in 1999. In 2001 Willem, by means of a management buy-out, took over Transportbedrijf M. Mooy. From then on, was owner and general director, he is responsible for the growth seen by Mooy Logistics since then. Because of his endeavours and dedication Mooy Logistics is on a strong basis and as a result can look forward to the future with confidence.

Jan Maarten van Noort will, as general director have the final responsibility for the complete operational management of Mooy Logistics. Due to his extensive experience in the logistic sector he has obtained a lot of knowledge. As a result he knows the many aspects of the job and the continuity of Mooy Logistics is guaranteed.

Together with the other members of management Marc Alblas(financial), Gert Noorderink (commercial) and Jan Blankers (operational) the changes in the market will be followed carefully and these developments anticipated by the complete logistic service provider.

Mooy Logistics has specialised in transport and warehousing of conditioned product and has at its disposal a total range of logistic services. The service from cross-dock centra in Waddinxveen and Breda is not limited to storage and transfer and transport of goods, but also includes the handling of the products from A to Z. This amongst others includes dealing with the customers, container transport, and Value Added Logistics, such as packing, repacking, re-stacking etc. Possible quality inspections and assessment of the incoming stored and outgoing flow of goods can be attuned to by HDG Services B.V., which is part of Mooy Logistics. Daughter company Agri Logistiek B.V. is supportive to Mooy Logistics and offers conditioned transport of complete loads through all of Europe.
