China imports 100% of its blueberries from Chile

During the public account of his activities, the Chilean minister of Agriculture, Luis Mayol, highlighted the strength of the trade ties with China; a country which made 100% of its blueberry imports from Chile during the first semester of the year.

The same happened with 75% of the cherries and 71% of all fresh plums, as well as half of China's imports of frozen raspberries, fresh grapes and apples.

"Despite the fact that this year our export volumes have slightly fallen, for some products in particular sectors shipments have increased," he affirmed.
