General Manager - Up to £50k - Spain

Our client is passionate about supplying quality products to the UK top retailers.  A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to set up and run a new facility in Madrid supplying cut flowers to the Spanish retailers.  This role will initially be a 1 year contract, although there is a very high chance it could develop in to a permanent position.

With substantial backing from the UK, the new role will be reporting to the Managing Director.  With previous experience in the flower industry, your main areas of accountability will cover the day to day running of the business.  Essential to this exciting new role is your exposure and understanding of the flower sector, Spanish retailers, growers and your commercial ability to set up and run with this new project.  Fluent Spanish is essential to this role.

We are looking for a highly versatile and practical manager who understands the dynamics of a challenging environment.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key.
