Job offer

The assistant grower's duties will include growing, pest scouting, food safety, farm safety and weekly reporting.  For the growing duties, the assistant grower will be responsible for the daily testing required to assess the crop as well as the scheduled calibration of all equipment used for the testing.  The assistant grower will coordinate all fertilizer mixtures.

For the pest scouting duties, the assistant grower will conduct pest scouting, coordinate all crop pollination activities, coordinate all biological applications, and coordinate all chemical applications necessary for the crop maintenance.  The assistant grower will also be responsible for the mixing of all chemicals.

For the food safety duties, the assistant grower will be responsible for the implementation, verification and recording of the food safety program.

For the farm safety duties the assistant grower will be responsible for the implantation of the program.

The assistant grower will be responsible for completing a weekly report of all activities.

Type of position: Full-time

Salary or Wage: $40,000 - $50,000 plus full benefits
