These pictures were made after heavy rainfall in Spain yesterday
Several sources sent us pictures of the heavy rainfall in Spain. An importer wrote: "Due to the poor weather conditions, severe shortages of iceberg lettuce developed in all of Europe. Many plots can be considered as lost. Furthermore, many plots are inaccessible for harvesters." As you can see on the pictures, many plots are completely covered with water. After the water disappears, lettuce growers will have to wait for another 2-3 days before they can access the plots.
