The first organic blue berries have arrived at BioWorld in Poeldijk. BioWorld work together with sister company FruitWorld of Breda in the area of blue berries. Both companies are part of the Best Fruit Group. "Organic blue berries are really becoming more popular and consequently demand is starting to increase," Friso Sterk of BioWorld tells.
"We receive arrivals every week. The organic blue berries are offered in standard
8 x 125 grs. packings, but if desired by the customer other packings are possible," Friso continues. "From now on the organic blue berries are available all year round.
After the European season we change to the South African season. In South Africa we have a large volume of organic berries available from our own cultivation company Lushof."
