Swiss supply of organic top fruit above average

The supply of organic top fruit in Switzerland at the end of January was clearly above the average of previous years. The supply of organic apples was 3,159 tonnes at the end of January, Bio Suisse and Swisscofel recently reported. 325 tonnes was sold in January, and average score. In the second half of the month the sales increased. The January supply of organic pears, 533 tonnes, is a new record. The sales of pears was also average. It is assumed that the sales of organic apples and pears will increase in the next few months.
