Hall 8.2 stand A-05

British Pavillion at Fruit Logistica

For the second successive year, Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA) will be supporting the UK presence at Fruit Logistica 2012 - the most important business and communication arena of the international fresh produce trade.

With support from the British Government department UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), CHA will host a small British Pavilion in Hall 8.2 /A-05 and will be promoting the UK’s fresh produce and horticultural industry to the key decision makers and industry professionals from across the globe.

Participants on the CHA organised UK Pavilion include:

Black Garlic Ltd

Black Garlic is the new food ingredient. It is manufactured by treating
ordinary garlic with heat and moisture over several weeks. The result
is a tangy, aromatic flavour of molasses and balsamic that enhances
all types of meals- pasta, fish, meat, gravy, salad or even raw or in
sandwiches. It has none of the astringency or bad breath effects of
ordinary garlic, whilst having nearly twice the antioxidants.
