Bekuplast brings out a folding crate with RFID-chip

Bekuplast, the German producer of plastic crates, has developed a sizeable product range, that consist of crates that have been developed especially for the quality demands in the fresh logistics. At the coming Fruit Logistica trade fair Bekuplast will present itself with a special folding crate for fresh products, that is very suitable for dynamic orderpick systems of storage in an automatic small parts storage.

According to the company this is made possible thanks to the special bottom of the crate that has a minimal bottom bend when loaded and is also suitable for modern push systems. As a special extra the crate is fitted with a RFID-chip that offers optimal possibilities for following deliveries. "The patented Lift-Lock of the crate causes ergonomic handling when unfolding," the company reports. The locking system allows extremely fast handling while at the same time reliable locking and good stacking properties. "With this crate, fruit and vegetables will arrive at their destination safely and in excellent quality."
