Switzerland: Fewer apples being sold

The apple sales of this fall, at 13,713 tonnes, are 1,340 tonnes lower than in the previous year, according to Swisscofel and the Swiss Fruit Association (SOV). They are also 1,528 tonnes below the 5-year average.

The pear sales of 3,988 tonnes are 354 tonnes less than the year before.
